Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 1C is pleased to invite the Adams Morgan Community to a: COMMUNITY SHRED DAY! WHEN: Saturday, June 30, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM WHERE: Kalorama Park Recreation Center (the shred truck will be located just outside of the Kalorama Park Recreation Center, 1875 Columbia Road NW at Belmont Road) (click "read more" for more information) Featuring:
- FREE secure shredding of your unwanted documents (paper and CDs)! Did you know that identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in the US? Help protect your identity by destroying unwanted documents that may contain any personally identifiable information (e.g., Social Security number, date of birth, financial information, credit card solicitations, paper bills, account numbers, addresses, etc.). Note: this is a shredding event only; no electronic waste or other hazardous recycling materials will be accepted.
