Traffic proposals. The Committee will consider a request for DDOT to make the 1800 blocks of Kalorama Road NW and Wyoming Ave NW one way and to install traffic calming measures on those streets and on California Street NW

Cuban Embassy request. The Committee will consider a request from the Cuban Embassy to symbolically name part of 16th Street after Marti.
Jubilee Housing request. The Committee will consider a request from Jubilee Housing for BZA relief for the TransCentury building at 1724 Kalorama Road, NW.

Matters addressed at the June 20 meeting:
The committee voted 2-0-0 to:
- put the issue of proposed changes to 1818 Vernon St. NW on the full ANC agenda for the July 11 meeting, without making a recommendation;
- recommend that the full ANC approve the request for extended work hours, to go no later than 9 pm on weekdays and to start no earlier than 9 am on Saturdays, for work on Oyster Adams School to allow its completion before the beginning of the new school year;
- put the issue of signage in public space for the Italian Embassy on the full ANC agenda for the July 11 meeting, without making a recommendation.
Special forum on Meridian International development:
On Wednesday, May 23, the full ANC held a special forum on the Board of Zoning Adjustment application of Westbrook Partners for 2300 16th St. NW and, after hearing from the developers and members of the community, voted unanimously (6-0-0) to oppose the application.
